The sixth season of BBNaija which ran for 72 days finally came to an end on Sunday, October 3, 2021, with the grand finale show where the winner was announced. Out of 26 housemates, only six made it to the final day of the show, and just one housemate went home with the 90 million Naira prize.
From the beginning of the season which launched on Saturday, July 24, and ran till Sunday, October 3, 2021, BBNaija recorded a total of 14.6 million online mentions produced by 4.9 million fans of the show. All of this generated 41.7 billion digital impressions with the final day of the show recording the highest volume of posts generated in a single day.
Liquorose, Pere, Whitemoney, Maria, and Angel were the top five most talked about BBNaija housemates throughout the Shine Ya Eye season and they recorded a total of 11.7 million mentions across all online platforms.
