Anyway, Tesla’s simple reason for the halt is to help create more Tesla 3 products. Representatives from the company wrote:
“Model 3 production plan includes periods of planned downtime in both Fremont and Gigafactory 1. These periods are used to improve automation and systematically address bottlenecks in order to increase production rates. This is not unusual and is in fact common in production ramps like this.”
This delay means that the company may not fulfill its promises made over a year ago. Unfortunately those excited investors for the product would have to wait much longer than expected before they get their ROIs. And we would have to be more patient so we get to see the new tech cars.
