Phone screens are annoyingly fragile, and this somehow makes living a recklessly fun life without worrying about your phone’s safety every now and then a tad difficult. Screen protectors do the job (sometimes) of keeping our screens safe, but let’s face facts; they’re ugly. They start breaking off on the edges after barely a few weeks of use, or sometimes just get in the way of having an enjoyable cluster-free phone experience.
The makers of ProtectPax, an invisible ‘liquid glass’ screen protector, had all of this in mind when they came up with this brilliant creation. According to the makers, the ProtectPax goo, which is made of titanium dioxide nanoparticles and can make your phone as ‘hard as sapphire or ruby’, was originally developed for use in the aerospace and aviation industries.
Gently rub the liquid across the surface of your screen, leave it out to dry for 10 minutes, and voila! However, ProtectPax, the German company behind this magical goo, say that the effect wears out after about a year and might need replacement.
The liquid can be used on all sorts of glass surfaces including from reading glasses to TV screens. A pack of this seemingly wondrous product starts at about $39, which is around N18K. Think it’s worth a try?
