Where does the social assistant end and the con artist begin? We may never know. We’re saying these words because people are paying trained writers to manage their accounts on dating apps. Apparently, they can’t deal with the drama that comes with chatting, sexting, rejections and sudden break ups.
So they pay these writers through an online dating service called VIDA, short for Virtual Dating Assistant to help them find love, write their profiles and reply their messages on dating apps.
These writers are of two different kinds, the profile writers and the ones who log in twice a day to reply to love messages on clients’ accounts.
This new way of meeting potential life partners have allegedly been noted on major dating apps on the internet.
So next time, you chat on a dating app, it may not be the real owner of the profile replying your messages.
One can only imagine how many virtual impersonators are on Tinder, Gosh….
