Black Queen, Beyonce wins again! Queen Bey was the centre of attention at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend and the world was so excited watching her perform that they named the whole festival after her: Beychella!
Her top notch performance began with a 200 member live band which played, wait for it…a rendition of Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s “Zombie” music!
Other than this, she had Jay-Z work their duet: “Deja Vu” with her and her sister, Solange dance to her song, “Get Me Bodied”. She and her former Destiny’s Child teammates then conquered Coachella with “Lose My Breath”, “Say My Name” and “Soldier”.
Afterwards, she said, “Thank you Coachella for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline.
While pop-culture folks at Wendy’s believe she is the G.O.A.T (Greatest of all time), we’re upset because YouTube has announced it would not be streaming her second show live this Saturday!
So everyone has to travel and get a ticket?! Oh bummer!
