All Of Our Favourite Moments From Entertainment Week Lagos 2023

The groundbreaking annual event, Entertainment Week Lagos, commenced on December 13th, drawing thousands of industry leaders, celebrities, Gen Z, and thought leaders from across the continent.

The event, hosted at Livespot Entertarium, featured a series of activities, including masterclasses, panel sessions, Deal Room, exhibitions, showcases, a film hub, and live performances at Club X. This second edition facilitated funding for entertainment tech startups, nurtured and upskilled talent, built capacity within the industry, fostered global and local exchange, and advocated for policies and solutions to address ongoing challenges within the entertainment sector.

The panel session on ‘’Mining Nigeria’s Creative Goldmine’’ with Kem Anyanwu, Chioma Ude, Titi Ogufere, and Tolu Ogunlesi was one of our favourites. The panellists shared insights and case studies on the importance of nurturing and investing in Nigeria’s creative industries as Nigeria has the potential to become a global hub for culture, art, and innovation.
