On July 1st 2015, users of dlvr.it, a very popular social content sharing app, started experiencing problems getting their content on to Facebook. This came as a result of the app’s non-compliance with some particular Facebook policies. It was also observed that posts already made by dlvr.it to Facebook pages were temporarily removed.

Now this is really bad for the blogging business, where many rely on dlvr.it for automatic sharing of their blog posts to social channels. Plus Facebook being one of the biggest sources of traffic for bloggers and publishers out there, especially those producing videos, entertainment and political news content.

Thankfully, Dlvr.it made some changes to their app, and after a review, Facebook eventually removed the restriction on dlvr.it‘s posting on Thursday, July 2nd. Also, all posts previously made by dlvr.it are now back on Facebook.
Great to see how dlvr.it reacted quickly and rectified the problem in less than 24 hours. Now bloggers can keep publishing, and getting that traffic… which ultimately translates to Adsense $$$ !
