1.
A good PR stunt needs to have a logical reasoning behind it that in turn drives engagement and entertains the targeted audience.
2.
Little or preferably no corporate branding on the visuals to be used. Be sure to add value first, and not rub the final goal – in most cases sales – in the face of the audience.
3.
Be quick to jump on trends – #hashtags, to push your agenda. It’s sometimes easier to join a conversation than to start one.
4.
People want to be entertained. But some bold and daring ideas with an original finesse will definitely make your stunt stand out.
5.
Don’t get it twisted. PR stunts are not monologues, make it experiential and interactive. Your audience need to be involved in the execution.
6.
Get as much feedback as possible before launching your campaign. Ask the ultimate question: What could go wrong?
7.
