In a bid to check trolls and ensure a less negative playground, Twitter is taking a few drastic steps, including alerting users of profiles that may contain ‘sensitive tweets’ before they can view.
The update was noticed by a Mashable reporter who was warned when he attempted to view the profile of technology analyst Justin Warren. Instead of showing his complete profile as usual, some parts were blurred with the warning: “This profile may include potentially sensitive content.” With the warning comes an invitation to view, which you can either agree to or turn around and leave without going further.

Also, the platform will allow users to report tweets they find offensive to the Twitter team for review. If the tweet is deemed sensitive, Twitter will label the content – and perhaps eventually the profile – appropriately, or remove it, if it’s a live video.
The feature is still being tested and is yet to get everywhere.
The platform wouldn’t of course be the first to try to limit negativity and put certain restrictions in place, as Facebook, Instagram and Youtube have their set-down policies that prevent sharing of particular kind of content.
Users are kinda freaking out about the new update as at now
