Twitter Has Updated Its Summary Cards To Give More Info About Your Links

Yesterday, Twitter announced that they had updated their summary cards.

Some of you might be wondering what summary cards are. Summary cards are those small texts found below tweets and posts with links that carry the title, featured image and description of a blogpost or content attached to a link. For instance, whenever you type in a post on Facebook and you add a link, it may appear like this at first.

Later, it draws information/content from the source of the link  and adds this ‘summary card’ including the title, the featured image and a brief description of what the link is about.

We’re glad Twitter has updated the summary card feature. It gives tweeps more reason to click on links.
