The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2016 held on March 5, 2016 and it was an amazing evening not because of the glamorous dresses or the red carpet interviews. To us, it was an amazing evening because of Zainab Bukky Ajayi.
Veteran actress, Zainab Bukky Ajayi, who featured in old Nigerian classics like Village Headmaster and Amaka Igwe’s Checkmate received industry merit recognition at this year’s AMVCA along with Sadiq Daba. As she got up on stage to receive the award, Bukky Ajayi broke down in tears and couldn’t believe the whole room was up on their feet applauding her.
