The popular photo and video sharing platform known is reminding us yet again that they lead, while others follow with the launch of a new type of world lenses that brings your surroundings to reality with just one tap.
The feature will make it possible for Snapchat users to be able to communicate with their surroundings, almost similar to how Pokemon Go users can. A large rainbow, a cloud, flowers, and a floating “OMG” are all part of the initial lineup, which, according to the company, will change daily.
If you’re like us, you’re probably thinking that Facebook just might be rolling out something similar later this year, seeing as they’ve practically copied every one of Snapchat’s features. Coincidentally (maybe not), today, the release date of this awesome new feature happens to be the day of F8, Facebook’s annual conference. Perhaps Snapchat just wants to remind everyone who the real boss is.
Way to go!
