This relationship is certainly over. Flickr has packed its bags and moved to another company, SmugMug. We’re not sure if it was because Yahoo was literarily cheating on Flickr or anything like that. (laughing)
It seems Flickr made a simple business decision to grow and SmugMug has promised to be there for the photo application.
SmugMug’s Chief Executive, Don MacAskill told everyone that he plans to take over Flickr’s back-end infrastructure but maintain its photo-sharing service separately.
