Everyone has one favourite social networking app.
When Facebook ‘opened shop’ in Nigeria, it was a hit and everyone’s favourite. Those who were on it couldn’t get off it and some spent all the money they got on checking out their ‘Facebooks’ at cyber-cafes. Much much later, Twitter surfaced but Nigerians weren’t ‘that’ interested because its multimedia sharing options were very limited – it was basically words for a very long time. Fast forward to 2015 People are now crazy about Twitter, Facebook doesn’t get as much love, Snapchat is making waves and Instagram is the place to be.
So we asked a couple of students from one of the biggest universities in Nigeria about their favourite social networking app.
