By now, you must have heard from friends about Instagram deleting their accounts without prior warning and for reasons that totally make no sense. It’s becoming a real bother as everyone is scared that they might be next.

According to the message that comes after the IG account deletion, Instagram claims that accounts are deleted because the user has violated its terms of use. However, some of the rules are terribly flawed:
-
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
This is quite funny. Toddlers have active IG accounts, even Pigs (actual animals) have accounts on Instagram. So….

-
You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service.
Really? Check this tag #Sexxyy and see how Instagram has become an advertising site for pornographers. And that’s just one tag out of many.

-
You agree that you will not solicit, collect or use the login credentials of other Instagram users.
How about social media managers Guys? Come on! Sighs

-
You must not defame, stalk, bully, abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate people or entities…
Have you seen the comment someone left on one of Toolz’s IG posts? Guess Instagram didn’t.

It will be really awesome if Instagram could warn its users before deleting their accounts. That’s just the way to do things right. Instagram is a beautiful photo and video sharing social network that most of us love. Don’t ruin it.
