Nigerians still do not understand the gravity of cyberbullying.
Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has allegedly deleted his Instagram account because of the amount of hate his family and lover (not even him) have been receiving.
Logg TV says this was his last post on Instagram.
We all know how personal people tend to get on Instagram. We want to share our most memorable moments, pictures and videos with those who make us happy. It’s safe to say Instagram is one of the happiest social media platforms that exist. Sadly, Bisi Alimi has encountered the opposite on the photo/video sharing network.
This picture was posted by Instablog9ja in celebration of Bisi Alimi’s 40th birthday.

This is what a man like Bisi Alimi got for sharing a photo of him and his fiance on his 40th birthday. Sighs
Heterosexuals share their 40th birthday photos all the time, but when a Nigerian homosexual (in exile) does it, he’s bullied and cursed. Asides the cyberbullying, the Nigerian constitution is against homosexuals, which is why Bisi Alimi had to go on exile. Even in exile, he is still hunted.

Would you blame him for leaving?
In case Bisi Alimi ever thinks of coming back, he should consider making his profile private. That way, he can sieve who comments on his posts.
P.S: If you tried counting the comments… smh
