Although the beta iOS 11 is only available for iPads for now, it doesn’t however stop it from working on the iPhone (just the 7), albeit a bit imperfectly as it comes with some glitches and bugs.

1. The App store is much better
The App store is easier to manage now, with games getting a whole new section of their own. This improvement makes it easier to access and find apps that will be useful to you. Developers will also find it more appealing as promoting new software will be a lot easier.

Siri has interestingly learnt some new languages, which include German, Italian, French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Not bad, right?
Who else is patiently waiting for a day when we might get a Yoruba or Igbo-speaking Siri?

With iOS 11 comes the ARKit, a tool which allows developers to create augmented reality apps. So far, some demos have been made, with the most interesting being a a recreation of the moon landing in someone’s living room.

The control centre is no longer just a small set of options at the bottom of your phone screen, but a whole page with shortcuts for brightness, flashlight, speaker volume and some other tools.
It can also be customized to have quick access to features like Do Not Disturb While Driving.
5. More options for power users
The new beta also allows you offload unused apps if you’re running out of space without losing your relevant documents and data.
While there are lots of other reasons why the iOS 11 is a welcome improvement, it’s advisable to remember that it doesn’t work perfectly for now, and will properly launch on the iPhone in a few months.
