Are There Ethic Group Levels To Spraying Money?

Ok. This is a little funny but we’ll really like your opinion on this.

Yesterday, Kandibe Ejiofor (@Kandilala on Instagram) posted a video of her brother Chiwetel Ejiofor spraying some money on her at her traditional wedding ceremony at Enugu, Nigeria.

After watching this video, a couple of us at the office noted that Chiwetel had adopted the “Igbo spraying” approach – throwing money at the celebrant. The others blatantly refused to accept that spraying was specific to ethnic groups. See another video that depicts the Igbo spraying style.

In the bid to provide evidence, we found these videos some Edo Boys based in Italy called Anointed Big Dons’ Club of Europe who make spraying money look like some sort of sacred practice. Let’s call this the Edo spraying.

The video below shows that Yoruba spraying may be closer to the celebrants’ body.

Do you agree that the approach to spraying money is heavily dependent on where the spender hails?
