After months of anticipation, Fox has released the first full-length trailer for The Gifted, its upcoming X-Men TV show.
The series follows the Strucker family as they do their best to run from sinister government agents to protect their children, Lauren and Andy who both have mutant powers.
The official blurb describes the series as a “Family adventure series… tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.”
The show is written by Matt Nix of Burn Notice, and will be directed by X-Men’s Bryan Singer.
