The new trailer of Justice League got released over the weekend and it’s almost perfect, with an interesting addition of new superheroes and fun conversational scenes, giving the movie a more friendly feel, as opposed to the typical grim nature of the previous Superhero movies before it.
Ben Affleck’s Batman character, who’s on a quest to gather all the Superheroes together, appears in several scenes of the clip, so do Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Barry.
His (Batman’s) deadpan “I’m rich” response to Barry’s “What are your super powers again?” is probably the coolest part of the trailer and his dry humour is present in several other scenes.
One character is noticeably missing however in the entire trailer: the Man of Steel, Superman. Even though we’re supposed to believe he died in the movie, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, we all kinda know there’s no way he’s not showing up in this one. Is his complete absence in this release intentional so as to thicken the suspense? You bet!
All in all, the trailer’s great and we can’t wait for November when the movie finally gets released.
