11 Things Upcoming Nigerian Artistes Can Learn From Trey Songz

If there’s anyone that can teach you how to manage an audience at a music concert, it’s definitely Trey Songz.

Here are 11 Things we learnt from him at the just concluded Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged show.

1. Get the crowd to sing along with you.

2. Don’t take off your shirt too early if you have a hot body. Make them wait.

3. Tease the girls. Kiss them on their foreheads, even though their lips are French-kiss ready.

4. Throw your wet shirt into the crowd.

5. When taking a break, take a sip of water and let a backup artist take over till you can catch your breath.

6. Perform mostly your biggest hits. No dull moments.

7. Lip syncing is not allowed. Bring with you an awesome live band. Sing into the mic.
8. Make girls in the audience jealous of your female dancers.

9. Let the crowd touch you. Hands mostly. Over and over again.

10. Set the mood by dimming the lights – red, purple usually work magic on their minds.

11. Collaborate with and be friends with the best artistes from countries that love you and your music.

Disclaimer: All points highlighted will only work effectively if and only if you had the looks, moves, voice, charisma and hit-making talent of Mr Tremaine ‘Trey Songz’ Neverson

Good luck!
