The Twitter search tool is the one stop zone for finding trends, hashtags, handles, mentions and a lot more. Located on the top right bar on Twitter, the search space is as important as functions such as while you were away, home, notifications, etc.
There are better ways for searching anything on Twitter that you probably haven’t heard about.
Here are some of them are:
To exclude something from your search, type minus (-) (digital-marketing)
To search for tweets from someone , type from: (from:idafricang)
To search for tweets sent to someone, type to: (to:idafricang)
To search for all tweets in a specific area, type near: (Traffic near:ikeja)
To search even further, type near: bla bla bla within: (traffic near:ikeja within:idafricang)
To search between two dates, type since: and until: (idafrica since: 2015-02 until: 2015-05)
To search for just tweets with links, type filter:links (idafrica filter:links)
To search for tweets from specific clients and apps, type source: (source: idafrica source: facebook)
