The housemates have roughly one month left to spend in the Big Brother Naija Lockdown house. The reality show is in its sixth week and only 14 housemates are left in the house, Erica, Nengi, Laycon, Ozo, Kiddwaya, Neo, Vee, Tolanibaj, Lucy, Prince, Trikytee, Wathoni, Dorathy and BrightO.

Lilo, Eric, Ka3na, Tochi, Kaisha and Praise have all left the house. Competition is getting even keener as the house things out. The week started out with the Head of House challenge, which Ozo won, for the second time, and this time, he chose Nengi as his deputy. Ozo and Nengi replaced Kiddwaya and Tolanibaj as Head of House and deputy. Erica, who got two strikes from Big Brother, was banned from participating in the weekly Head of House challenge.

As usual, the housemates had a series of challenges this week. The housemates are usually challenged along various skills and talents. They have the Betway Trivia and Arena games on Friday, the wager challenge on Thursday and several other challenges during the week. At this point, the housemates have settled into their routines. Those in relationships or the semblance of one already have a rhythm, new relationships are blossoming and living together is no longer challenging for them.

Erica, Laycon, Nengi, Ozo have consistently maintained the top four spot in the most talked about housemates on social media. This week, Vee, Dorathy, Lucy and Kiddwaya join the four on different days in the top five. The housemates have their greatest social media mentions during their tasks.

On Thursday, the housemates had a painting challenge where they also shared stories of their childhood and family experiences, the task got emotional very quickly. This activity became a talking point on social media for fans leading to over 300,000 posts with more than 600,000 potential impressions.

Tasks, challenges and housemates’ relationships usually make up a large portion of social media conversations around the housemates. The next couple of weeks are critical in the fate of the housemates in the competition, the next eviction is slated for Sunday, August 30 and it will be interesting to see what twists lay ahead.
