#FunFactFriday – The First YouTube Video Was Silly Enough To Make One Man Crazy Millions

Yesterday made it the 10th year since the first YouTube video was uploaded. It was uploaded by Jawed Karim. Jawed with his colleagues at PayPal, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley had created YouTube in February of the same year.

It’s obvious that Jawed made this video to test run uploading on YouTube. However, this silly sample video that generated 12,338 dislikes made Jawed $66 million dollars when Google bought YouTube in 2006.
