JayZ said he could sell fire in hell. Well, hell has thrown his fire in his face. His recently launched “high fidelity” music streaming service is hitting the ends of water way faster than Titanic did!
Tidal, JayZ’s new music streaming service, had a huge launch that got public support from big acts like Madonna, Daft Punk, Usher, Rihanna who came out and signed some form of ‘declaration of independence’ contract. It was that much of a big fuss.
However, the famous faces have only been able to keep the audio streaming service at the top of the charts for just a terribly short time.
According to reports from BGR, Tidal has fallen way below expectation. Exactly two weeks after the music streaming service made the U.S. iPhone top 20 download chart, the app has fallen out of the top 700 – that’s not even a flop, that’s nosedive!

It looks like a lot of people don’t think Tidal is all that and they would rather use other free music streaming services than pay $20 monthly for high fidelity music.
Unfortunately, that’s real bad for business – remember his words “I’m not a businessman, I’m a business, man” from Diamonds from Sierra Leone?
LOOOL.
