The single is a testament to the fact that, Davido has matured over the years in terms of personality and choice of music, preferring slow melodies against upbeats sounds .
Nwa Baby, is a blend of African pop and dope lyrics just like his previous bangers, FIA and IF. A friend of mine said “the song will just put you in one place like that and you won’t want to leave that place”, she was spot on, Nwa baby has been on replay.
Since the visual release of Nwa Baby on the 10th of August, the internet has been a gong, with fans and non fans testifying to the brilliance and feel of the song. On Youtube, Nwa Baby has been viewed 883,595 times on the platform. On Twitter, the song has been receiving massive weave, with people tweeting about the song all day same as Instagram.
Davido is quite strategic, picking up things that keeps him relevant and popping. There is just so much you can do with money, but OBO has been up to flip the money to stay on top. Credit to his management team, who has over the years positioned him as one of the biggest artist to ever walk the face of the continent.
